Community Service

Our submission for the GMTKJam 2023. The theme was "Roles Reversedl". This game was made in 48 hours. In "Community Service", players take the role of the nameless young delinquent who is determined to redeem himself and make better choices for his life. Rather than engaging in classic beat 'em up style action, players will partake in mini games that involve performing altruistic acts such as helping others, making healthy choices, and cleaning up their environment. The game offers unique use of classic traditional beat 'em up mechanics by allowing players to enact positive change through selfless acts within its vibrant world.
